Lectio Divina

Each Saturday evening the community, led by a Sister, leads the ’Lectio Divina’ focusing on the Gospel for the following day. ’Lectio Divina’ is a process of spiritual reading, slow meditative, listening and responding to the Word of God. It is fundamental to the monastic life of prayer, together with the seven hours of prayer time in the monastery.

Community ‘Lectio’ is deeply enriching and opens us to the Holy Spirit working in each other and continuously challenges us to conversion of heart. It is inspirational and transformative. The Gospel is newness. The Gospel is a feast. One can fully live the Gospel only in a joyous heart and in a renewed heart. This we share with all our brothers and sisters in prayer.
